Mediterranean Pool House Garden

Mediterranean Pool House Garden

Designed to complement a beautifully crafted pool house, this Mediterranean-inspired garden combines clean architectural lines with natural textures to create a calm and inviting outdoor space.

A mature ancient olive tree forms the focal point of the design, set within a corten steel planter and surrounded by layers of Mediterranean planting, ornamental grasses and natural pebbles. Large-format Florence Storm porcelain paving is softened with generous planting , while clay pavers introduce warmth and texture throughout the scheme.

A Foras copper bowl water feature gently spills into a reflective rill, creating both movement and the soothing sound of flowing water. Floating stepping stone across the water, adding a sculptural focal point that draws visitors through the garden.

Natural glacier boulders, weathering steel detailing and woven corten screening bring character and permanence to the landscape, while the restrained planting palette ensures the garden remains elegant, low maintenance and full of seasonal interest.

Every element was carefully selected to create a contemporary Mediterranean retreat that feels timeless, tranquil and perfectly connected to the architecture of the home.

Client Response

“The Poolhouse Garden is the second major project completed by Craig, Jack, and Harvey, and once again they have exceeded all expectations.

As always, Craig went above and beyond to ensure the design perfectly reflected my vision and brief, and the finished result is simply stunning.

I can’t wait for the team to return in the autumn to link the Poolhouse Garden with Jed’s Courtyard, as well as redesign the fish pond and front garden.

Once again, they’ve delivered a first-class job. The whole team is professional, hardworking, and a pleasure to have around. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.”
