White House Gardens
White House Gardens was designed and built to create a calm, contemporary outdoor living space where clean architectural lines meet timeless materials. The design balances generous entertaining areas with structured planting, delivering a garden that feels open, elegant and functional throughout the year.
Over 100 square metres of London Stone Florence Beige porcelain paving forms the backbone of the scheme, laid in a crisp linear pattern that enhances movement through the garden while reflecting natural light. The warm neutral tones provide the perfect canvas for the surrounding planting and architectural features.
A bespoke timber pergola creates a striking focal point within the garden, defining an outdoor seating area while maintaining an open and airy feel. Built using premium timber from Smith Bros Timber, the pergola has been designed to be softened over time with climbing plants, adding texture, shade and seasonal interest.
Connecting the spaces is a bespoke corten steel rill, introducing the calming sound and movement of water while providing a beautiful contrast against the pale porcelain paving. Steel edging gives the planting beds sharp definition, reinforcing the garden’s contemporary aesthetic.
Generous borders have been carefully prepared for layered planting, allowing the landscape to mature naturally and provide year-round colour, texture and structure as the garden develops.
Designed and built entirely by Willow Tree Landscapes, this project creates a refined outdoor environment that combines modern craftsmanship with lasting practicality.
Client Response
“We are delighted with the work Craig carried out on our garden in Beccles. He and his team worked hard in atrocious weather during the winter to remove over 200 sq.m of ugly grey concrete and replace it with a pretty, contemporary garden. In addition to new planting beds, pergola and rill, the porcelain paving has transformed the space and has been laid beautifully with precision and careful attention to detail. Craig was able to turn our ideas into reality and offer his own suggestions to make everything achievable. We would be happy to recommend Willow Tree without hesitation.”
